Christopher J. Wilkey, 35, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, November 8, 2011.

Mr. Wilkey was born in Chattanooga, a graduate of Ooltewah High School Class of 1995 and worked in the Chattanooga area as a chef.

Surviving are his parents, Gary and Starla Wilkey; sisters, Ryan Wilkey Smitty, Lacey Twomey and Constance Twomey; grandmothers, Betty Wilkey, Bobbye Malone; grandparents, Frances and Bob Gill; aunts, Paulette (Rick) Thompson, Tawnya (David) Jones, Gwen (Donnie) Payne and Vickie (Roy) Phipps; nephews, Anikin Smitty and Christopher Tudor; nieces, Gigi Twomey, Kelie Malone and Marrisa Roshell; great-aunts, Frieda Sullivan and Naomi Miller; great-uncle, Don Kieth; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tanya Wilkey; paternal grandfather, James Ralph Wilkey; uncle, Earl Wilkey; and aunt, Betty Keith.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, November 11, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
