Wilma Sue (Sis) Ballew, 75, of Ten Mile, TN, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She worked for the Meigs County School System in the Cafeteria for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Ballew; and parents, Hubert B. and Bonnie (Harrison) Huff.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Janice Ballew of Athens; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connye and Rob Davis of Athens and Sandy and Tim Moses of Decatur; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Malinee Huff of Athens; two sisters, Jane Powell and Bernice Woody, both of Ten Mile; six grandchildren, Kim Waldrop, Jessica Perez, Beth Moses, William McFarland, Brittaney Rentz and Abby Ballew; and three great-grandchildren, Zoe Womac, Chloe Waldrop and Nathaniel Rentz.
Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Duncan and Rev. Curtis Porter officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the Bowers Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
