Wayne Prater, 51, of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Sunday December 23, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie V. Prater and Winona (Simmons) Prater; and a sister, Deborah K. Smith.
Wayne is survived and will be missed by his brother, Benny Prater; his sister, Treva (Price) Beasley; nieces, Regina (Mike) Smith and Debbie Wright; nephews, Bobby “Tojo” (Kim) Wright, Nick Smith and Brandon Smith; and many dear friends.
A Celebration of His Life will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, at 12 p.m. The service will be officiated by Bro. Wayne Sullivan. Burial will be in the Hitchcock Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26 at the Pikeville Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
