Josephine (Josie) Willbanks, 81,of Birchwood, TN, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 in a local health care center.
She was a member of Harrison Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a former nurse at Bradley Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Berthie (Minnis) Wright; sister, Mary Louise Goodner; and brother, Paul Wright.
She is survived by a son, David Willbanks; brother, Wallace Wright of Escondido, CA; two nieces, Connie Goodner Hofstatter of Woodstock, GA; and Jeanie Goodner Falkie of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 27, at noon in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael A. Minch. Interment will follow in McInturff Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
