Baylor's Elliot, Pannell Sign Soccer Papers

  • Friday, February 3, 2012
Baylor soccer stars Paige Elliott and Kelly Pannell recently signed scholarships to continue their careers at college next year.

Elliott, an anchor in the always-tough Baylor defensive line for the past three years, signed a letter of intent to play at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Lehigh plays in the Patriot League.

Pannell, the leading scorer for the Raiders in her junior year, committed to the Southern Conference's Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.

Both players help lead the Baylor girls soccer team to state championships in 2010 and 2011.
The pair celebrated together in a gathering with family and friends.
