Thomas Morris, 52, of LaFayette, GA, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gaye Wilson Morris.
Tom had been the care taker for his father the past 10 years, loving son, brother, and uncle. He was an avid golfer who loved to play golf with his family as well as golf friends from Roper. He was a kind gentle man and rescued a lot of animals. He helped a lot of people.
He is survived by his father, James David Morris of LaFayette; brothers and their wives, Rick (Glenda) Morris, Ooltewah and Steve (Celina) Morris, Murfreesboro; niece, Tania; and nephews, David, Derrick and Matt.
Funeral will be from the Wallis Memorial Chapel Friday, October 25, at 3 p.m. Service will be conducted by Rev. Mike Lowery. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to LaFayette Fellowship Group at 1309 Walnut Grove Rd LaFayette.
