Tennessee Wesleyan College Hosts Blood Drive For All Blood Types

  • Wednesday, February 20, 2013

Tennessee Wesleyan College will host a blood drive in a medic mobile that will be in front of the student center in Townsend Memorial Hall on E. College Street, on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

“This blood drive will support the urgent need for all blood types,” said Kerrie Lynn, TWC director of student activities. “A blood drive is an excellent way to pay it forward and do our part to support the community at large.”

Community blood centers and area hospitals need an average of 300 units of blood daily.

Sponsored by Medic Regional Blood Center, TWC’s blood drive is open to all blood types and all donors will receive a coupon for a free 12 oz. Petro from Petro’s Chili and Chips.
