Betty Corlew
Betty Idella Tyson Corlew, 84, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, July 22, 2013.
She was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Chattanooga to the late David O. M. Tyson and Beulah Ivey Whisenant Tyson. She worked as a secretary for TVA for 15 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Corlew Boyle; son-in-law, Edward Boyle; grandchildren, Catherine Geiger, Sean Boyle, Brendan Boyle and James Boyle; and sisters, Nancy Tanner and Peggy Malone.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, and from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday.
