Hollums, Melinda L. (Cleveland)

Melinda L. Hollums, 84, of Cleveland, died on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at a local hospital. 

She was a former employee of the American Uniform Company. She was of Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Smith and Lillian Ake Smith.

She is survived by her children, Thomas Edwards Jr., Ronnie Edwards of Plymouth, MI, Mary Womac, Billy Ray Hall and Cathleen Hall; grandchildren, Thomas Edwards, III, Thomas Edwards, IV, Jeremy Lee Edwards, Roxanne Edwards, Michelle Edwards and Crystal Edwards; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Geneva Miller and Mary Leon, both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Reverend Doug Bell officiating. Entombment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12–2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
