Bryson, Gladys Marie Simpson, 84, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on September 17, 2013 at a local health care facility.  

She was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church, always a caregiver, loved her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Bryson, brothers, Howard Rains and Joe B. Simpson, and parents, Boskey Simpson and Vesta Collake Simpson.

Surviving relatives are her daughters, Nadine (Fornie) Bynum, Claudia ( Dr.Tom) Owensby and Amy Holland, sisters, Betty Miller, Wanda Newman and Rosell Mullins, grandchildren, Adam (Genimar) and Matt(Kelley) Holland, Chris (Suzanne), Michael and Amanda Bynum, Kevin (Tammie), Keith (Stephanie) and Kennon (Vanessa) Owensby, Kim (Kurtis) Lewis,12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Mason, officiating. The interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens-East.
