Dana Wilbourn
Dana Bryan Wilbourn, Sr., 61, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at his home.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, he was a son of the late Frank and Ollie Mae Jenkins Wilbourn.
Mr. Wilbourn was a graduate of Tennessee Tech, earning a bachelor of science degree. He worked as an engineer with TVA for 29 years. He also worked as a reporter for Chattanoogan.com.
He was an active member and elder of the North River Church of Christian and Missionary Alliance.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by brother, Calvin Frank Wilbourn.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Feagans Wilbourn; children, Bryan (Jordan) Wilbourn, Jr. and Emily (Diego) Fernandes; grandchildren, Gabriela Elizabeth and Noah Bryan Fernandes, Gracey Ruth and Lola Mae Wilbourn; siblings, Gene Roach Wilbourn and Larry Lynn Wilbourn.
A funeral service to commemorate his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at North River Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance with Duane Mabee, Eugene Hall, and Sam Harris officiating.
Interment will follow the ceremony at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the North River Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, 5940 Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee 37343.
