Voices Won Hosts Anniversary Singing Nov. 14-15

Voices Won ministries will host it 13th Anniversary Singing Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at Crosspointe Christian Centre at 2681 Underwood St., (corner of Underwood and North Bypass) north of Dalton. Voices Won, a Georgia non-profit (501-C-3), includes brothers Jaron, Shantell and Staclynn Faulknor. The brothers call Catoosa, Whitfield and Murray counties home.
Crossroads Entertainment released their latest CD “The Basics” blending a Southern gospel sound with progressive arrangements that share a solid gospel message. 

“We have an amazing combination of performers to uplift and inspire this year,” Jaron said. “These will be some tremendous evenings filled with Christian fellowship and music.”

Friday night is an evening including Mark Bishop, Karen Peck and New River and Voices Won.
Mark Bishop has been sharing his music with audiences and Gospel Music fans for more than 25 years.  As an award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, he has ministered to and entertained audiences across the United States and Canada. 

Three-time Grammy nominee Karen Peck and New River are from Dahlonega and is comprised of Karen Peck Gooch and sister Susan Peck Jackson, (both born in Gainesville, now call Dahlonega home) and Jeff Hawes (Ala).  Karen's husband, Rickey, group manager and sound technician, is a native of Dahlonega. 

Formed as a group in 1991, they travel most of the time throughout the U.S. and have appeared on stages such as The Grand Ole Opry, The Gaither Homecoming concerts, Opryland Theme Park, Dollywood and Six Flags Over Georgia and have even performed in Scotland. They have received multiple awards (both individually and group) and toured with Bill and Gloria Gaither and the Homecoming Tour. 

Peck garnered 11 Favorite Soprano Fan Awards from the readers of The Singing News Magazine, Southern Gospel Music’s leading fan and trade publication.  

Saturday night is an evening featuring the McKameys, the Triumphant Quartet and Voices Won.
With 24 number one singles, the most in the history of Southern Gospel music, seven wins for Favorite Female Vocalist for Peg McKameys and numerous other Singing News Fan Awards, the McKameys are one of the best known groups in gospel music. 

From “God on the Mountain,” their 1987 mega-hit, to “When Faith Steps In,”they have consistently brought the focus on Christ with their moving songs of inspiration. The McKameys are Ruben Bean, Peg Bean, Sheryl Farris, Connie Fortner, Roger Fortner and Eli Fortner. 

Grammy nominee Triumphant Quartet features David Sutton, Clayton Inman, Scott Inman, and Eric Bennett, who have been entertaining audiences since 2002. Among their hits are "Love Came Calling," "Saved by Grace," "Almost Home," and "Let's All Stand for America." 

Dinner and concessions will be available nightly. Advance tickets nightly $15 or two days for $25. Admission at the door is $20.
