Medical Foundation Of Chattanooga Hosts Health Care Informational Forums

The Medical Foundation of Chattanooga, in cooperation with Seedco and the Get Covered Chattanooga Coalition, will hold two informational forums about 2014-15 Affordable Health Care Open Enrollment and Healthcare Marketplace. They will take place on Oct. 23 & Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Golley Auditorium, Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department, 921 East Third St., Chattanooga.

This event is designed to educate the public about the health care law (including the essential health benefits that must be offered by insurers), what the law means for them, what documentation will be needed during the eligibility determination and enrollment process, as well as the assistance available to help you navigate the entire process.

Presenters include Nancy Ridge, Medical Foundation of Chattanooga, and Katherlyn Geter, Erlanger Health System.

A panel discussion with Get Covered TN Coalition members is also included.

Open enrollment for the 2015 Healthcare Marketplace is Nov. 15, 2014-Feb. 15, 2015.
