Marion Jenkins Ward, 87, of LaFayette, GA, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene D. Ward; and parents, Lurlean Laws Bailey Jenkins and Stewart Jenkins.
She is survived by her devoted niece, Diana Jenkins of Noble, GA; sister, Margaret Yearby of Weems, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held Wednesday, November 26, at 11 a.m. at New Home Baptist Church in Noble, GA with Rev. William Stamper officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service on Wednesday, November 26.
Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton.
