Ruby Mae Brown, 98, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2014.
She was born July 24, 1916, in Whitfield County, to the late William and Myrtle Creasman, and was a loving wife and mother. She was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Rembert Brown, and two sisters.
She is survived by four daughters and their spouses, Janice (Melvin) Edwards, of Ringgold, Janette (Max) Cordle, of Summerville, Frieda (Bill) Matthews, of Woodstock, Ga., and Elaine (Mark) Holt, of Keller, Tx.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Chuck Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 27, from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
