Brumlow, Martha Jo Hutchins (South Pittsburg)

Martha Jo Hutchins Brumlow, 86, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at a local nursing home following an extended illness. 

She was a longtime employee of South Pittsburg Knitting Mill and was a member of First Baptist Church, South Pittsburg.

The daughter of the late Ray and Rose Ella Castle Hutchins, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton George “Jack” Brumlow; brothers, John, Claud, Aaron and Jerry Hutchins and sister, Ruby Ferguson. 

She is survived by her daughter, Trudy (James) Redding of South Pittsburg; brothers, Bill (Gail) Hutchins, Cecil (Joyce) Hutchins all of Jasper, Raymond (Brenda) Hutchins of Guild, Tn., and Jim Hutchins of South Pittsburg; sisters, Mary Ward of Chattanooga, and Lou Bradford of Cleveland, Tn.; special niece, Victoria Floyd of Chattanooga; special friends, Cathy Cagle and Rose Mayfield; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Ronnie Case officiating.  Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, from 5-8 p.m. CT at the funeral home.
