Alzheimer’s Association Mid South Chapter Heads To Nashville For Day On The Hill

  • Wednesday, February 19, 2014

The Alzheimer’s Association Mid South Chapter, along with volunteers and supporters from the area, will visit our representatives during Day On The Hill on March 19 to change the future of Alzheimer’s disease.

“Alzheimer’s is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States.

Day On The Hill provides us with an opportunity to meet face to face with our representatives and let our voices be heard. We want to change the future of this devastating disease,” says Amy French, manager of programs and education.

More than 140,000 people in Tennessee are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and more than 400,000 unpaid caregivers are providing needed care. Anyone who wants to make a difference on behalf of those affected by Alzheimer’s disease is invited to attend. The Alzheimer’s Association will arrange the meetings and provide transportation and meals for the day. For more information or to register, call 800/272-3900.
