Middle Valley Church of God, located at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announced that Pastor Mitch McClure will speak on the topic, "The Conclusion Of The Matter" in the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday. The sermon continues his latest sermon series on 'Moving Along Towards God'. The message will focus on the need for Christians to make decisions based on what will take them closer to God in their spiritual relationship.
Pastor McClure will read the congregation in a time of prayer and Bible reading in the 6:30 p.m.service this Sunday. The congregation is participating in the READ Initiative of the Church of God in 2014 which includes reading through the Bible entirely in 2014. The public is invited to all services.
Each Wednesday at 7 p.m. classes are made available for all age groupings. At the present time, Pastor McClure is leading a Bible study based on "The Utter Relief Of Holiness" by John Eldredge in the administrative classroom. The community is invited to participate in all services of Middle Valley Church of God.
