Margaret “Little Bird” Gribble, 85, died peacefully in her home on April 22, 2014.

She was born in Nashville. She had a great love for flowers, was an avid Braves fan and was retired from G W Supply. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Loret Yacht Club and Tri State Military Vehicle Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Meeks Hobbs and brother, Charles F Hobbs Jr. 

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James K Gribble; daughter, Sandy Gribble of Harrison; Loving dog, Heidi, sister-in-law, Edna Hobbs of San Antonio; nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and cousins from Texas, Utah, Idaho and Tennessee.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Reverend Hal Shaw officiating.
