Mildred Lees
Mildred Irene Drew Lees, 94, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2014.
Mrs. Lees was born in Whiteside, Tn., to Thomas and Gertrude Drew. She was a member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church, active in the PTA, member of the Future Homemakers Association of America and enjoyed needlework.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Lees; parents; brothers, Ernest and Bill Drew; and sister, Opal Drew.
Surviving are her children, Peggy Lees, David Lees and Mike Lees; special son, Robert Jackson; grandchildren, David Lees, Jr. and Mary Ann Lees (Robert) Carver; great-grandchildren, Anthony Lees, Josh Moore, Jason Moore, and Nickolas Lees; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, June 20, and noon-1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the funeral home with celebrant, Rex Knowles officiating.
Burial will follow at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker, Ga.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
