CFC Advances To South Region Championship

The Chattanooga Football Club men's soccer team beat Miami FC 2-0 Friday night in the South Region Semifinal game and will play for the South Region championship on Saturday.  

Chattanooga scored their first goal in the 31st minute when Niall McCabe gave CFC a 1-0 lead.  

Miami played a man down after a red card in the 60th minute. 

Chattanooga did not put the game away until the 89th minute when Snoopy Davidson scored.  

In the second game, Tulsa Athletics came from behind to beat the Upward Stars 4-2 in extra time.

Chattanooga will face off with Tulsa on Saturday at 7:30 at Finley Stadium. 

The winner will advance to the NPSL national semifinals.

Last year the Chattanooga team fell to Richmond in the south region final.
