Gary Brock
Gary Lee Brock, 53, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, August 14, 2014.
A native of Reno, Ne., he had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past nine years and was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion and was employed with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Tennessee. Gary had a love for motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Sue Brock.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Kim Brock; two sons and their wives, Eric and Mary Brock, Prattville, Al., and Jeremy and Kayla Brock, Deatsville, Al.; four grandchildren; father, Buren Brock, Carrollton, Ga.; brother, Roger and Vicki Brock, Hartselle, Al.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga at hospiceofchattanooga.org or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery will full military honors.
There will no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
