President Needs To Seek Authorization From Congress Regarding ISIS

Re:  Corker Says It Is “Extremely Lacking In Judgment” For President Not To Seek Authorization From Congress To Defeat ISIS

I agree wholeheartedly with Senator Bob Corker.

If the president does not seek authorization from Congress to wage war to defeat ISIS, do not give him one thin American-made dime to do anything else in the Middle East that he plans to request funds to support.  If he fails to come to Congress for authorization, we Americans should wage our own war against his political party in November to show him that, yes, we do matter.

This is one time when all Americans, regardless of party, should come together and hold the line against a worse disaster in the Middle East because of another bad decision by this president who has little confidence of the people according to the national polls and no strategy for success.  This war will be a long-term engagement with no specific or identifiable battlefield, target, or opponent.  All of us have a voice in how we want to process it to protect our dedicated military, ourselves, and our homeland as well as our friends in that part of the world.  Let your voices be heard loud and clear.
