Julia Grace Richardson McClain died on Saturday, September 13, 2014.

She was a faithful member of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. McClain; parents, Ben A. Smith and Augusta Smith; stepson, William McClain.

She is survived by her son, Andre L. Richardson, of California; grandsons, Gregory (Tynae) Richardson and Antrone Richardson; granddaughter, Biyonka A. Richardson , all of Michigan; great-grandchildren, Gregory Richardson,III and Gabrielle Richardson; sister, Willa Henderson; brother, James Smith; aunt , Lila Mae Foster; uncle, Earnest Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Williams officiating.  Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Sept. 18, and the family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
