George "Pudgy" Albertson III, 65, of Dalton, GA, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Albertson Jr.; and grandparents, Cleve and Vivian Rowland, George Washington Sr. and Cora Albertson.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Corbin and Kellie Albertson; mother, Vivian Jeane Albertson; sisters, Suzanne Baggett and Jerilou Albertson and Rusty Mangum; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rowland and Karen Albertson all of Dalton and Marc and Darlene Albertson of Macon; daughter, Angie Moore; grandchildren, Drew Moreland and Alex and McKenzie Moore; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
The funeral service to honor the life of "Pudgy" will be held Saturday, September 20, at 4 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Branam officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 19 from 5-9 p.m.
