Charlotte M. Frost, 83, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

Charlotte Ann was born on Jan. 19, in Chattanooga to Ross and Dorothy Maddux.  She was married to Jack L. Frost on June 29, 1952, and they experienced together a beautiful and blessed marriage for 62 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, son, Steve Frost (Lisa), daughter, Susan Bishop (Mike), granddaughter, Amy Haddock (John), grandsons Jonathan Frost (Lindsey), David Bishop, Will Bishop, and Ben Bishop; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Ann, Eli, and Grace Haddock and Laney, Sally, and Molly Frost.

Charlotte was a faithful member of Red Bank Baptist Church for 60 years.  She greatly enjoyed her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her many friends.  These special relationships were the constant focus of her time and energy during the active and healthy time of her life.

Charlotte dedicated her life in service to others, particularly when friends and family members were in distress.  Expressions that would describe the way she lived her life would include “caring”, “giving”, “sacrificing”, and “loving”.  Above all, her faith and trust in the Lord, and His sovereign hand, were paramount in facing all the challenges, trials, and tribulations that life can bring forth.

Memorial services will be held at Red Bank Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, with Dr. Fred Steelman and Reverend Bill Harvey officiating. Visitation with the family will be in the Sanctuary, prior to the service, beginning at 12 p.m.
