Mary Konemann McDonald, 95, of Hixson, Tennessee, died on Sunday, January 11, 2015.

Mary was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church, member for over 60 years. She worked as a registered nurse at the first Hixson Hospital where she worked with her husband, Dr. Paul Rawiszer, DuPont as a visiting nurse and for Combustion as a nurse on staff. Mary was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.

Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Paul Rawiszer; second husband, Joseph M. McDonald; son, Raymond Rawiszer; parents, Charles and Mary Konemann; stepson, Henry McDonald; and eight brothers and sisters

Mary is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Beth) Rawiszer; son, Randy (Georgia) Rawiszer; step-son John (Sue) McDonald; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  at  Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.

Funeral services for Mary will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Paul Longmire and Randy Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
