Mayor Berke Participates In Walk To School Week

Mayor Andy Berke will participate in National Walk to School Week.

Mayor Berke will speak for a few minutes before taking the nine minute walk with students from Carver YFD Center to Orchard Knob Middle on Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. Also planning to be in attendance are Chattanooga City Council Rep. Moses Freeman, School Board Rep. George Ricks and County Commissioner Warren Mackey. 

Mayor Berke will walk with students from East Lake Elementary to East Lake Park, an approximately five minute walk on Wednesday at 3 p.m.  Also planning to be in attendance are Chattanooga City Council Rep. Chris Anderson, School Board Rep. George Ricks and County Commissioner Warren Mackey.

Mayor Berke will walk with students from New Monumental Baptist to Woodmore Elementary, an approximately five minute walk, on Thursday at 7 a.m.  Also planning to be in attendance are Chattanooga City Council Rep. Russell Gilbert, School Board Rep. Karitsa Mosely and County Commissioner Greg Beck.
