Lillard, Henry Bess "Pete" (Decatur)

Henry Bess “Pete” Lillard, 97, of Decatur TN, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Brookewood Nursing Center.

She was the longest living member of the Decatur United Methodist Church and was a lifelong resident of Meigs County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Anna Mae Gallaher Lillard; sisters, Alma Clyde Atkins, Emily Rhea Cockerham and Evalyn Worth Lillard; and brother, John Mason Lillard.

She is survived by her great-niece, Dana Lillard Gross.

A graveside funeral service and interment will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Decatur Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Decatur United Methodist Church.
