Jay Craig To Sing At Brainerd Presbyterian March 22

  • Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Jay Craig, one of America's outstanding gospel singers, will join forces with the Brainerd Presbyterian Church Choir on March 22 for the 10:45 a.m. service.  He will sing three of his trademark songs, "Give God the Glory," "I Bowed On My Knees and Cried Holy," and "His Unseen Hand."

Mr. Craig is equally at home performing a Broadway musical, singing classical music with a chorus and orchestra or with his praise ensemble at Abba's House each Sunday.

Dr. Tom Hammett, choir director at Brainerd Presbyterian said, "It's always an exciting day and stirring worship service when Jay Craig visits.

His ability to communicate powerful emotion in his music is extraordinary.  Jay is one of the few singers who can bring me to tears nearly every time I hear him sing.  This would be a great opportunity for people in the East Brainerd area, or throughout Chattanooga and north Georgia to hear this wonderfully gifted singer."

Brainerd Presbyterian is currently in an expansion building project as they add new Sunday School rooms and a Fellowship Hall.  Dedication of the new facilities is planned for late April.  New Contemporary worship services are also scheduled to begin in early April.

Brainerd Presbyterian Church is located at 1624 Jenkins Road, just off E. Brainerd Road. Additional information is available by calling the church office at 423-899-2424, or on the church website, http://www.bpcepc.org/#/welcome/welcome.
