Free Sunday At Hunter Museum Rescheduled To April 12

  • Monday, March 30, 2015

The Hunter Museum First Free Sunday has been rescheduled to April 12 from 12-4:30 p.m. because of the Easter holiday.

The free day includes gallery exploration, permanent collection tours and the annual Jazzanooga celebration with performances on the terraces all afternoon featuring the diverse sounds of live jazz from regional musicians including the Undoctored Originals, Sweet Georgia Sound, the Tim Hughes Quartet and the UTC Jazz Band. This is a partnership program with Jazzanooga who will also be presenting performances throughout the bluff earlier that day.

The Permanent Collection is free to all and the temporary exhibition Gajin Fujita requires $5 admission fee (free to Museum members).

All Free Sundays are supported by Easy Auto. Additional support is from Publix Supermarkets Charities with the afternoon’s music by Jazzanooga.
