Linda Gray West Wood, 67, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

She was known and loved for her smile, laugh and most of all her caring Christ like spirit. Mrs. Wood was a life-long member of the Church of God. She attended Lee University and graduated in 1969. She married in 1969 to Calvin and embarked on a life journey of Ministry. She had many accomplishments in her life but most of all enjoyed working to help those she interacted with to know Christ as their Lord and Savior and to grow in their walk with the Lord. She loved her family and friends with all she had and their memories of her will always bring joy and a smile.

Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Lee and Ida Mae West; and her aunt, Dolly Loyd.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Jackson Wood of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Damon and Kathy Wood of Woodstock, GA; brother, Jack and his wife Dorothy Smith of Warrington, NC; and niece and nephew, Susan Farmer and David Smith.

A Remembrance of Life Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31 at the Wildwood Ave. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Rev. Mark Landon officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, march 31 from 10-11 a.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
