Seminar will provide the nuts and bolts of information needed to become a successful exporter.

Topics will include: identifying markets for your products, how to finance your export transaction, how to develop a website ready for global commerce, shipping orders internationally, and identifying local support to facilitate local commerce. Hosted by the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, this seminar is free and open to the public. Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy: 1802 Bailey Ave.

Reality Check teaches 9th graders budgeting and emphasizes the connection between education and income by allowing students to role-play as heads of household while trying to provide for their families on a set budget. Community volunteers are needed to assist with this event.
