Ignite Showcase Is Saturday

Supports Student Talent And Arts Education

Ignite, a showcase celebrating student talent and supporting arts education, will be Saturday at the Chattanooga Theatre Center, Circle Stage.  

ReGenerate, a high school arts leadership group presents Ignite, a fundraising event to provide music, visual arts, theatre and dance supplies and equipment for Hamilton County elementary and middle schools.   

A continuation of last year's Let Beauty Awaken project, proceeds from Ignite will fund a grant program administered by ReGenerate. Last year, 31 HCDE schools applied for grants and 14 schools were funded.

The event begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments and a silent auction and continues at 7 p.m. with performances by public and private high school students from Center for Creative Arts, Chattanooga Christian School, GPS, Hixson High School and STEM School.
