Sheriff's Office Offers Free Shredding And Prescription Drug Disposal

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will partner with the “Shred It” company and WDEF News Channel 12 this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for two events at the Sheriff’s Office West Annex located at 6233 Dayton Blvd.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will offer residents of Hamilton County the opportunity to discard important papers, medical documents, financial/tax records, etc. which should be disposed of in a safe and secure way to help prevent identity fraud. This is a service for residents of Hamilton County and is not available for businesses. 

Also, at the same time and location, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division will offer residents the opportunity to drop off out-of-date, unwanted or unused prescription drugs for safe disposal with their Drug Take Back program.  Please, no sharp objects or needles can be left for disposal at the drug drop off locations.
