William Kendall
William "Rusty" Kendall, 56, died on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He fought a courageous battle with cancer and stayed strong until the very end. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Rusty was a 1977 graduate of Chattanooga Central High School and was employed with Miller Industries for 32 years.
Rusty was preceded in death by his father, Bill Kendall.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan Kendall; daughter, Lauren (John) Messar of Birchwood; son, Kevin (Cait) Kendall of Ringgold; three grandsons, Talan Seth DeFoor, Everett William Kendall, and Bennett Reid Kendall, all of Ringgold; mother, Barbara Kendall; brother, Mike (Theresa) Kendall of Hixson; seven nieces and nephews, and one great-nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, in the funeral home chapel with John Cupp and Kevin Kendall officiating.
The family wishes to thank the nursing and CNA staff of Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care, as well as Dr. Nicholas Salt, Dr. Krish Bhadra, and Dr. Mark Womack.
