Barbara Ann Poindexter Fletcher, 81, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Saturday, May 16, 2015.
A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a member of Keith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Coleman Fletcher, Sr.; parents, Charles Lee and Bertice Marie Carroll Poindexter; and two sisters, Esther Sproggins and Sue Riccio.
She is survived by five children, Suzanne Lowe (Richard) of Varnell, GA., Joe Coleman Fletcher Jr. (Lynn) of Tunnel Hill, Jimmy Fletcher of Dalton, Julie Eaker (Travis) of Chickamauga, and Rick Fletcher (Rita) of Tunnel Hill; two sisters, Carol Pellegrino (Joe) of Charleston, S.C., and Frances Lubelski of St. Petersburg, FL.; brother, Dan Poindexter of Charleston, S.C.; nine grandchildren, Heather Kilgore (Allen), Andrea Henricks (Jeff), Robin Fletcher (Brad), Rick Fletcher (Lena), Hunter Fletcher (Natasha), David Fletcher, Hannah Fletcher, Jay Fletcher and Mary Kate Fletcher; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Kilgore, Tanner Kilgore, Caleb Henricks, Chace Henricks, Brooke Mahan, Cole Harper, Jonas Santaniello, and Isabella Fletcher, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Keith Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 18, from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday until funeral time at the funeral home.
