Winter Leads CFC To 3-1 Win Over Jesters

The Chattanooga Football Club's Luke Winter had two first half goals to lead the home team to a 3-1 win over visiting New Orleans Jesters at Finley Stadium on Saturday. 

Winter scored in the 9th and 33rd minute. 

Winter's first goal came off a nice cross by Jose Ferraz. 

Winter picked up his second goal after Leo DeSmedt sent a ball into the box and Winter was able to finish in front of the goal. 

CFC took a 2-0 lead into the half time break. 

New Olreans scored their only goal in the 77th minute giving them new life.

 Minutes later Jester defender Simon Nett recieved his second yellow card and was sent off.

CFC forward Chris Ocheing subbed in late in the game and made good on his playing time scoring in stoppage time.

Samuel Goni beat his man down the right side and made a nice pass to Ocheing in front of the goal.  

Chattanooga is now 5-0 on the season with three of those wins in NPSL play.  The other two came in the first two rounds of the US Open Cup. 

Chattanooga will the Atlanta Silverbacks on Wednesday in the third round of the US Open Cup.

The Silverbacks beat Chattanooga 5-0 last year, ending their US Open Cup run.
