100 Black Men Of Chattanooga To Host Free Health Screenings

The 100 Black Men of Chattanooga's 20th Annual Free Men's Health Screenings are offered in partnership with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Community Trust, Dodson Avenue/Southside Community Health Centers, Volkswagen Chattanooga and the Chattanooga News Chronicle. The screenings over the last 20 years have provided over 1500 men with free health care.
There will also be food and door prizes each evening with a TV Raffle at the end of the screenings with everybody who has participated eligible.
Originally started out to focus on prostate cancer screening, it has evolved to include blood pressure, body mass index, HIV, dental, vision, foot care and much more.
No insurance is necessary to participate.
The screenings are Tuesday, May 12 @ Boynton Terrace, Wednesday, May 13 @ Southside Health Center and Thursday, May 14 @ Dodson Ave. Health Center 14. The times each evening are 5:30-7:30 p.m.
