Ray Arnold, 77, of the Beaverdale Community in Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at Murray Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar & Ruth Arnold; brother, Starlin Arnold; and sister, Grace Arnold.
He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna King and Rosa & Reed Williams, all of Chatsworth; sister, Estell Skidmore of Dalton; brother, Russell Arnold of Dalton; grandchildren, Scott Hobbs, Greg Hobbs, Kevin Hobbs, Monica Swank, Jodie Guzman; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, June 5, at 2 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Thursday, June 4 from 5-9 p.m.
