Following last year’s arrival of Anthropologie and J.Crew, Warehouse Row is now set to welcome a third national retailer into Chattanooga’s downtown retail corridor— Lululemon Athletica. The company known for its yoga-inspired athletic apparel expects to set down roots in the Scenic City by the end of 2015 when its North Shore pop-up store moves into a larger, permanent location at Warehouse Row.

Lululemon’s first full-service store in the Chattanooga area will tap into the local outdoor enthusiasts and athletes with its full line of technical athletic apparel for women and men.

Lululemon will be setting up shop in a 2,702 square-foot space that fronts Market Street and is adjacent to Anthropologie in Warehouse Row’s Building North. In spring of 2014, the designer and retailer opened a temporary showroom in North Chattanooga — a smaller version of Lululemon’s full-service retail stores—in an initial effort to engage Chattanoogans with the brand’s key style offerings and in-store community fitness events, including complimentary monthly yoga classes. The North Shore showroom will close following the Warehouse Row store’s grand opening. Globally, Lululemon has more than 200 locations.

“In the past year alone, Warehouse Row has been a hub for downtown Chattanooga’s enriched shopping and dining offerings, working hand-in-hand with our original vision for rejuvenating and transforming the more than 150 year-old property into a leading urban retail and restaurant destination,” said George Krauth, vice president and creative director of Jamestown, the company that owns Warehouse Row. “We are pleased now to see additional retailers like Lululemon investing in Chattanooga and recognizing the area’s potential.”

Lululemon Athletica features technical athletic clothing and accessories that "marry both function and style."  Lululemon’s merchandise includes athletic clothing, swimwear, bags, yoga gear and more for both men and women.
