Erlanger Welcomes Dr. John Cranwell To Signal Mountain And Sequatchie Primary Care Offices

Dr. John D. Cranwell is returning to Chattanooga in August to practice primary care medicine at UT Erlanger Health & Wellness of Signal Mountain and UT Erlanger Primary Care at Sequatchie Valley.  

Dr. Cranwell earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and completed his internship at the City of Memphis Hospital.  As a local primary care physician, who was a medical resident at Erlanger, Dr. Cranwell is returning to where it all began for him and providing medical care to area residents.
 He is no stranger to the Chattanooga medical community, having served as a chief of department of medicine, hospital board member, medical executive committee member and a medical director of primary care.  

Beginning August 19, Dr. Cranwell will have office hours from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in Sequatchie Valley on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Appointments can be made by calling 423-447-5348.  He will also see patients on Signal Mountain on Mondays beginning August 24, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.  Appointments are available on Signal Mountain by calling 423-778-9434.  

UT Erlanger Health & Wellness of Signal Mountain, located at 2600 Taft Hwy., offers comprehensive care ranging from wellness exams and sick visits to the management of chronic illnesses.  Services include lab, x-ray, EKG, spirometry, and treadmill testing.  

Erlanger at Sequatchie Valley, located at 16931 Rankin Ave., offers a 24/7, full service emergency department as well as physician offices for primary and specialized care.
