Judy Borders
Judy Elizabeth Borders, 62, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her residence.
She was a faithful member of Thompkin Chapel AME Zion Church. She was a client with Orange Grove Center for nearly 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henrietta Jacoway Borders and Willie Claude Borders; brother, Percy Ray Borders; nephews, Gregory Alexander, Denzel Ray Borders; niece, Kristie Borders.
Survivors include her brother, DeWitt Borders; sisters, Claudetta Mattox, Shirley Alexander and Lucy Nealy; nephews, Victor Alexander, Tyrone Alexander, Brandon Mattox and Ronald Nealy; niece, LaTasha Borders; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor J.R. Bridgeman as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
