Turner, Eugenya "Jeanie" (Dayton)

Eugenya “Jeanie” Turner, 91, of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at Rhea Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 24, 1923 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Sigurd and Beatrice (Snyder) Sivertsen. She was a missionary in Ecuador most of her life before moving to Dayton where she was a member of the Grace Bible Church.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Glen David Turner of Dayton; two sons, David (Lisa) Turner of Tennessee and Donald (Cathy) Turner of Texas; three daughters, Bitsy Turner of Dayton, Esther (Dale) Leslie of Wyoming and Rebecca (Steve) Buchanan of Virginia; three brothers, Bud Sivertsen, Duane Sivertsen and Dick Sivertsen; two sisters, Darlene Handy and Pat Norquist, all of Michigan; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest in Buttram Cemetery.
