Lana's Love Golf Tournament Is Oct. 20

Lana’s Love Golf Tournament will be held at WIndstone Golf Club on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The times will be at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Lana's Love Foundation was created to help children with cancer and their families have fun.  The foundation provides diversionary therapy (fun) for children with cancer and their families, in the memory of Lana Beth Webster, who loved to have fun and always made people smile. 

Weekly events for Lana's Love Foundation:

Monday and Thursday breakfast is taken to the pediatric outpatient oncology clinic
Tuesday nights special meals are taken to the in-patients families
Thursday’s Koch’s Bakery donates baked goods to the outpatient oncology clinic
Activities are provided throughout the week for children in the pediatric outpatient oncology clinic
 and in- patients (decorate cookies, ice cream sundaes, manicures, arts and crafts, etc.)
 Special gift bags for patients who need an extra pick-me-up
Visits with in-patient families

Monthly events include:
Large family events once a month (Ruby Falls, Rock City, Lake Winnie, Lookouts, The Barn
Nursery Planting Event, Creative Discovery Museum, Disney on Ice and much more)
Pin Strikes host one family a month for bowling
Rave Theater provides movie tickets for families
Creative Discovery Museum provides tickets for families
Macaroni Grill hosts one family a month for dinner
Lana’s Earthly Angels Program – Volunteers send notes and small gifts to children each month
