Who Done It? A Mystery And Fiction Thematic Book Sale At Downtown Library Auditorium

William Sundquist, chair of the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library is calling all fiction and 
mystery book lovers to a special three-day sale at the downtown library starting Thursday, Feb. 4 through Saturday, Feb. 6.

Hours for this special sale will be Thursday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Mystery and Fiction books will be on sale in the auditorium for $1 each for both hardback and paperback books. Current Friends of the Library Members may fill a standard plastic grocery bag with books for only $5.  (Limit 2 per membership per day.)  

“If you are not a member, you can join at the sale,” said Tom Adkins, Book Sale chair of the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library.

Friends of the Library accepts cash, local checks, and all credit cards.  Donations are appreciated.

"This is a great opportunity to support the Chattanooga Public Library, get some great books at an amazingly low price, and see all the updates and improvements that are going on at the Downtown Branch of the Chattanooga Public Library," organizers said.  "Remember, drop off your used books with the Friends so that we can recirculate them in the community for others to enjoy.  Your donations and purchases support our organization and our projects including Summer Learning programs and upgrades throughout the Chattanooga public library branches."
