Joe Smith Will Bring Sanity To The County Commission

  • Friday, October 28, 2016

What in the world is going on in the County Commission room on the fourth floor of the Hamilton County Courthouse?  “If you don't vote for me I won't vote for you" - or-  “I want to take back my vote for the chairman.”  Seemingly back door agreements being made in from the sunshine.

Our County Commission needs a peacemaker, a counselor, a consensus builder, and an independent servant.  Our County Commission needs a man that is non-partisan and just wants to do what is right for our community. Our County Commission needs Joe Smith.

Joe Smith has been a servant all his life. He and his wife have raised two children of their own and raised 19 foster children. Mr. Smith works with young people and families who are struggling with life problems. Mr. Smith has literally changed the course of life for thousands of kids and families. He has been a youth pastor, counselor and program administrator for a non-profit organization. Mr. Smith possesses the right skill set that the commission needs now.

Mr. Smith’s opponent is in the middle of his school board term and is seeking a new job on the County Commission.  Our county just does not need another politician on that Commission. After reading the recent endorsement for Joe Smith by the Chattanooga Times Free Press I did a little research of my own.  My findings are Joe Smith is the right guy at the right time to make a difference on the commission.

I ask that my friends and neighbors  in Hixson join me to get this great man, servant, and conservative elected as our next District 3 county commissioner.
