Twelve Area Teams To Host First-Round Playoff Games

There wasn’t a lot of waiting around time for Chattanooga-area high school football coaches to find out who their first-round playoff opponent would be next week.

While some may have already knew, everything became crystal clear just past midnight Friday when the TSSAA posted completed brackets for all six Division I teams and private schools competing in Division II.

Twelve of the 23 Chattanooga-area teams that are in the playoffs will host first-round games.

Here are the early matchups by classes:
