Alice Norman
Alice Faye Norman, 76, of Chattanooga, died peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by mother, Carrie Jones; father, Willie Garrett; daughter, Barbara Bonds; and granddaughter, Latisha Lawrence.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Eugene Norman; sons, Gary Bonds of Chattanooga and James William Bonds, III of Savannah, GA; daughters, Deborah Lawrence, Kimberely Bonds, and Sherry Smith, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Emma Patton of Chattanooga and Goldie Thomas of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Herschel (Edith) Garrett of Chester, PA, Johnny Lewis, Bobby (Janice) Jones, James Jones, Sr., and Alfonzo Jones, all of Chattanooga; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 6, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Oct. 7, at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Temple Church of God, 2311 Bliss Avenue, with Pastor Lebron Hawkins as the eulogist. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
