Goins, Edna Floralee Josephine Brumlow

Edna Floralee Josephine Brumlow Goins, 75,  of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her home.     

She was born Nov. 14, 1940, in Chattanooga to the late John W. and Viola Wilson Brumlow. 

She was a retired CNA from Siskin Hospital after 15 years of service. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl William Goins, Jr.; daughter, Carla J. Willis; and siblings, Elizabeth Arwood, Nellie Barfield, Bonnie Holdaway, Martha Gentry, Juanita Huckabee, Barbara Goins, Arthur Brumlow, and Ike Brumlow.

Survivors include her children, Carol Spencer of Soddy Daisy, Cheryl Kalmar of Chattanooga, and Carl W. “Bud” Goins III of Chattanooga; sister Clorina Jenkins of Ooltewah; brother, Wesley Brumlow of Rossville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 5-8 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel with Reverend Bill Harvey officiating.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. 

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
